The Startup World Cup is a global scale competitions aimed at bringing together startup communities worldwide, inspiring talented entrepreneurs to compete for the prestigious Startup World Cup winner and a $1 million investment prize.

Innovative approaches in education technology that enhance the learning experience and make education more effective and accessible.

Tech-driven and sustainable solutions that transform food production and farming systems for greater resilience and efficiency.

Startup World Cup is the largest startup conference and pitch competition to connect startup ecosystems worldwide and encourage the most talented entrepreneurs to battle for the prestige of winning the prize.

  • This competition welcomes startups from Southeast Asian countries.
  • The business must be operated on a full-time basis by the founding team.
  • Startups should focus on one of the key track of the Startup World Cup 2025 Southeast Asia: Education, Food & Agriculture, or Health.
  • Minimum 3 months of proven traction. 
  • Open for any stage of startup.
  • Demonstrates a scalable, sustainable business model with long-term impact potential.

This competition welcomes startups from Southeast Asian countries.

Participants can submit their applications at bit.ly/SEA-JoinSWC2025 

Submissions will be accepted until 16 August 2025 at 23:59 PM (Jakarta time)

  • Administrative Selection: Evaluation of submitted forms for administrative purposes.
  • Onboarding Session: The top 10 selected after the initial screening will be invited to attend the onboarding session.
  • Final Pitching Submission: Each startup can submit their updated version of pitch deck to be presented in Demo Day.
  • Demo Day: A regional pitching session featuring selected representatives from Southeast Asia.

  • Grand Final: The regional winner will represent Southeast Asia in San Francisco, competing for the opportunity to become the global champion.



  • Problem: Assesses how clearly the startup defines a significant market need that aligns with the track theme, including its relevance and market potential.
  • Solution: Evaluates how well the proposed solution addresses the identified problem and aligns with the focus area of the track.
  • Impact: Measures the social, environmental, and economic impacts of the solution, particularly in contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Competitive Advantage: Examines the startup’s unique strengths and differentiators within the context of the track theme.
  • Team: Assesses the expertise, experience, and readiness of the team to execute the solution and drive impact in the selected track area.
